Job Summary
Join Rico Catering as a Catering Sales Assistant Manager to drive business growth by identifying new sales opportunities, building client relationships, and ensuring seamless event execution while supporting branding initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Identify and establish new sales opportunities through diverse prospecting channels to expand clientele
- Respond promptly and professionally to telephone and online catering enquiries to secure business
- Assist clients in selecting menus and prepare tailored event proposals to meet their needs
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships to foster loyalty and repeat business
- Contribute creative ideas to enhance catering services and improve client experiences
- Manage sales and profitability of event orders to achieve revenue targets
- Coordinate with food production and logistics teams to ensure smooth delivery and execution of catering events
Required competencies and certifications
- Minimum qualification in F&B Management or equivalent
- At least 2 to 3 years of sales or business development experience in the catering industry
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Proven track record in catering or event sales
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills demonstrated in client-facing roles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills applied in sales contexts
- Well-organized and detail-oriented with ability to multitask in fast-paced environments
- Experience in senior sales or client-facing roles is advantageous
- Willingness to work in the North region
