Job Description:

Close coordination with Architectural and E&M Coordinators.

Coordinate with the Client’s technical department and Design Consultants,

Comprising of Professional Engineers, Architect, E&M Engineers, Design Engineers and Architectural / E&M

Coordinators on all issued design and construction drawings and instructions, for both Temporary and Permanent Works.

Liaise with the Client's Representative to ensure correct interpretation of the Employer's drawings and specifications; and any subsequence amendment of design and construction drawings

Control and update all issuance of design and construction drawings to the construction and contracts administration team, ensuring their correctness for use.

Liaise with all other departments and coordinate his staff’s activities to ensure the issued design drawings for construction properly represents the latest update for timely procurement, fabrication, resources arrangement, scheduling and construction.

Clarify of technical issues related to detailed designs with the Client’s technical department.

Troubleshoot with the Construction team for any discrepancies of the design construction drawings, their accuracies with the actual site conditions, and to highlight to the Client’s technical department for any amendments.

Ensure proper recordings of progressive design/construction drawings amendments made, for reference of ‘As-Built’ drawings preparation

Job requirement:

Minimum 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in civil and structural engineering, with a preference for candidates who have worked in:

High-rise commercial buildings

Mixed-use developments

Proficiency in structural analysis and design software, including STAAD Pro, ETABS, and AutoCAD.

Familiarity with Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools.

Strong understanding of structural analysis for both steel and reinforced concrete.

Knowledge of geotechnical design principles is advantageous.
