Job Responsibilities:

Collaborate with C&S consultants to develop and refine structural schemes for buildings and structures.

Prepare technical submissions and project quality plans for tender projects, ensuring adherence to deadlines and budgets.

Conduct engineering design in accordance with Eurocodes or other relevant international design codes.

Assist in preparing permit /ST applications for design approval with authorities.

Provide technical expertise and guidance to team members, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.

Effectively represent the engineering team in project meetings with clients and consultants from other disciplines.

Participate in site progress meetings, addressing technical queries from construction personnel.

Review and approve structural drawings for accuracy and compliance with design standards.

Design temporary works that are safe, cost-effective, and meet project requirements.

Oversee the installation of structural components to ensure adherence to design specifications.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in civil or Structural Engineering accredited by the Professional Engineering Board of Singapore.

Minimum five (5) years of experience in the construction industry with a demonstrated understanding of structural design principles.

Strong working knowledge of relevant codes of practice, building regulations, and authority submission and approval procedures.

Proficiency in engineering design software and analysis tools.

Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and prioritise deadlines.
