Business Development Manager – North Queensland
Architectural Window Systems is a leading supplier of high-performance aluminium window and door systems. The organisation is focused on driving sustainable growth through innovation, strong fabricator partnerships, and industry-leading technical and specification support.
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager – North Queensland to grow and strengthen our fabricator and specification network across the region.
This role is central to delivering regional growth objectives by developing existing customer relationships, driving new opportunities, and supporting fabricators to maximise the AWS supply model. You will also contribute to specification activity and broader strategic initiatives across the business.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute tailored business development plans for existing fabricators
Drive fabricator growth, engagement, and conversion opportunities
Develop and implement specifier engagement and marketing plans
Support customers in adopting AWS systems and overcoming barriers to change
Provide combined fabricator support and architectural specification/technical guidance
Contribute to national strategic planning, including marketing and fabricator development initiatives
Support development of tools, systems, and resources to improve customer outcomes
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent delivery of AWS strategies
About You
You will bring a strong mix of commercial capability, technical understanding, and relationship management skills, including:
Strong knowledge of aluminium window and door systems (or related building products)
Understanding of fabrication, manufacturing, or construction industry environments
Ability to coach, influence, and develop business partners
Strong presentation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
Experience using CRM and business systems (e.g. Salesforce or similar)
Ability to interpret industry standards and apply technical tools and calculators
Strategic mindset with a hands-on, action-oriented approach
Requirements
Willingness to travel within North Queensland and interstate when required
Participation in trade shows, industry events, and networking functions (including after-hours)
