Job Summary
We seek a strategic Manager – Business Development to lead client acquisition and revenue growth in Singapore’s construction technology and BIM sectors. This role demands a strategic thinker who builds long-term client value and drives sales success in a competitive market.
Responsibilities
- Lead business development efforts in Singapore to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets with consistent growth
- Develop and maintain a qualified sales pipeline by proactively reaching out to potential clients
- Own the full sales cycle from initial outreach to deal closure, collaborating closely with delivery, pre-sales, and leadership teams
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies aligned with business goals and client needs
- Build consultative client relationships by identifying pain points, proposing tailored BIM and digital delivery solutions, and delivering measurable value
- Manage client meetings, negotiate proposals, and oversee smooth post-sales transitions
- Expand the customer base by identifying new business opportunities within existing clients
- Represent the company as a trusted partner in online platforms, industry forums, client meetings, and conferences
- Collaborate with marketing, operations, and leadership teams to ensure client success and foster long-term engagement
- Share market insights and client feedback to improve service offerings and refine market positioning
- Contribute to strategic planning and business review discussions
- Maintain accurate CRM records of outreach activities, pipeline status, and deal closures
- Present sales performance data and forecasts to senior leadership
- Use data-driven insights to continuously improve sales performance and strategies
Required competencies and certifications
- 7+ years of business development experience in AEC, BIM consulting/services, or construction technology
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills demonstrated through client engagement and proposal management
- Proven ability to manage senior stakeholders and strategic client accounts
- Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset, demonstrating ownership and accountability
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills in Mandarin and English to engage diverse clients
