Job description for Business Developer at Grundfos Pumps
As a key part of the Commercial Building Services (CBS) team, you'll create impact by Pioneering innovative pump and water technology solutions that set new standards in the commercial building market across Singapore.
Your main responsibilities include:
Provide holistic system-level technical solutions for commercial building projects, ensuring optimal product selection and system design
Build and manage a robust project pipeline by identifying opportunities early in the pre-tender phase through engagement with consultants, developers, and M&E contractors
Pioneer new market opportunities by introducing Grundfos solutions to key stakeholders and positioning the brand as a technology leader
Collaborate with consultants and specifiers to influence project specifications and secure Grundfos as the preferred solution during the design stage
Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and training sessions to customers, partners, and internal teams
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and project developments to identify growth opportunities and inform sales strategy
What makes you a great fit
Above all, you are a technically strong and commercially minded engineer with a passion for building services, a talent for relationship building, and the drive to open new markets. We would also imagine that you have:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering (or related discipline)
3+ years of experience in technical sales, system design, or application engineering within HVAC, plumbing, or building services
Strong understanding of commercial building systems including water supply, HVAC, and drainage applications
Proven ability to engage with consultants, contractors, and developers at the pre-tender and specification stage
It is a plus if you also:
Experience with pump systems, boosters, or water technology solutions
Familiarity with the Singapore commercial building market and key industry stakeholders
Proficiency in system sizing tools and BIM/CAD software
