About the role
We are seeking a motivated Beverage Process Engineer to join our dynamic team in Singapore, working closely with our headquarters in Shanghai. The ideal candidate will have a background in Food Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Food Science, or a related field. You will support beverage processing activities, assist in implementing processing strategies, and work with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality beverages that meet customer needs and market demands. Candidate with relevant internships or up to 2 years of experience are welcome to apply.
Key responsibilities
Assist in developing and implementing beverage processing strategies to ensure high-quality production that meets customer needs and market demands.
Stay up-to-date on beverage processing technologies, including tea extraction, aseptic processing, pasteurization and carbonation.
Work closely with internal and external teams to support beverage development and production activities.
Support the selection and optimization of process parameters.
Conduct routine product and process testing (e.g., brix, pH, dissolved oxygen, thermal validation) to ensure beverages meet quality, taste, texture, stability, and nutritional standards.
Provide technical support for scaling up from pilot to production, troubleshooting processing issues, and maintaining process documentation.
Liaise with external partners such as equipment manufacturers and co-packers as needed.
About you
Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field, such as Food Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Food Science, or a related discipline.
At least 2 years of experience in beverage processing or product development OR candidate with relevant internships or research projects are welcome to apply.
Basic knowledge of beverage raw materials and processing parameters (fruit juices, purees, sweeteners, acidulants, stabilizers, emulsifiers, flavors, colors, functional additives).
Familiarity with beverage processing unit operations (e.g., mixing, homogenization, pasteurization, UHT, aseptic filling, hot/cold fill, carbonation, clean-in-place systems) is a plus.
Strong willingness to learn, good problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
Able to travel overseas frequently.
Able to speak and write in Chinese.
