Working Hours: 5 days work week, 44 hours per week (including weekends)

We are looking for a passionate and service-oriented Barista to join our growing café team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys beverage creation, customer engagement, and working in a fast-paced café environment. Candidates with strong potential will be groomed for future Assistant Manager / Manager career progression opportunities.

Job Responsibilities

Prepare and serve coffee, tea, mocktails, and specialty beverages according to company standards

Support beverage development and introduce creative seasonal drink ideas

Ensure consistency in drink quality, presentation, and portion control

Monitor beverage trends and contribute innovative concepts to enhance menu offerings

Maintain cleanliness and proper maintenance of coffee machines, tools, and beverage stations

Provide excellent customer service and create a welcoming café experience

Take customer orders accurately and efficiently

Support smooth day-to-day café operations and teamwork

Coordinate beverage preparation for events or catering requirements when needed

Ensure counters and preparation areas are fully stocked and operational

Assist in stock ordering, stock rotation (FIFO), and inventory monitoring

Check ingredient freshness and ensure proper storage practices

Maintain cleanliness, sanitisation, and food safety compliance at all times

Support end-of-day cleaning and operational closing duties

Requirements

Passion for coffee, beverages, and hospitality

Experience in barista work, café operations, or beverage preparation is an advantage

Creative mindset with attention to detail

Good communication and customer service skills

Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Responsible, proactive, and hygiene-conscious

Willing to work weekends and rotating shifts
