About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Assistant Operations Manager to oversee retail boutique operations and support the successful execution of events and exhibitions. The ideal candidate will possess strong operational management skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders to ensure smooth business operations.
Key Responsibilities
Retail Operations Management
Oversee day-to-day operations across multiple boutiques to ensure smooth business functioning and compliance with company standards.
Monitor operational performance and implement improvements where necessary.
Ensure boutiques maintain high standards of presentation, functionality, and customer experience.
Facilities & Maintenance Management
Oversee boutique upkeep, including lighting, security systems, and display fixtures.
Coordinate maintenance schedules and ensure timely resolution of operational issues.
Manage repairs, renovations, and facility improvement projects.
Ensure all outlets remain operationally ready and well-maintained.
Event & Project Coordination
Coordinate logistics and operational setup for brand events, exhibitions, and client activations.
Support event execution and troubleshoot operational matters during events.
Manage store layout planning, fixture installations, and operational readiness for new openings or refurbishments.
Reporting & Administrative Support
Track operational issues and follow through until resolution.
Utilize Microsoft Excel for reporting, data analysis, and operational monitoring.
Collaborate with internal departments and external vendors to ensure smooth project execution.
Requirements
GCE O-Level and above.
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in retail operations management.
Experience handling retail store operations is required.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including:
VLOOKUP
Pivot Tables
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Meticulous, organized, and detail-oriented.
Strong follow-up and coordination skills.
Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Willing to work overtime when required to support events and operational activities.
