Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Architect Assistant to support architectural and structural design projects. The ideal candidate will assist with preparing drawings, coordinating design information, supporting project documentation, and working closely with engineers, consultants, contractors, and clients.
This role is suitable for someone with a background in architecture, drafting, or building design who is organized, technically capable, and eager to grow in a multidisciplinary engineering environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in preparing architectural drawings, layouts, plans, elevations, sections, and details.
Prepare and update CAD drawings based on instructions from the project lead.
Support coordination between architectural and structural drawings.
Review drawings for accuracy, dimensions, notes, and consistency.
Help compile submission documents for authorities, clients, and contractors.
Help with CORENET submission
Coordinate with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and clients when required.
Maintain organized project files, drawings, revisions, and records.
Assist in checking compliance with design requirements, building regulations, and project specifications.
Support site visits and prepare site observation notes when needed.
Required Qualifications
Diploma or degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, Drafting, Building Design, or a related field.
Basic knowledge of architectural design, construction drawings, and building components.
Proficiency in AutoCAD is required.
Knowledge of 3D BIM such as Revit, SketchUp, Photoshop, or other design software is an advantage.
Ability to read and understand architectural and structural drawings.
Good attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to manage deadlines and work on multiple tasks.
Fresh graduates may apply if they have strong drafting and design skills.
Preferred Skills
Experience working with structural engineers or construction consultants.
Knowledge of local building codes and authority submission requirements.
Ability to prepare 3D models.
Understanding of Singapore Regulations such as PUB, URA or SCDF .
Site experience or construction coordination experience is an advantage.
