1. JOB SUMMARY (GENERAL NATURE / OBJECTIVES OF THE JOB)
The Architectural Manager (LTA) is responsible for overseeing all architectural works related to MRT/LTA construction projects, ensuring compliance with LTA requirements, project specifications, construction drawings, safety regulations, quality standards, and project schedules. The role coordinates between consultants, subcontractors, site teams, and authorities to ensure smooth execution, timely completion, and successful delivery of architectural works.
2. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACTIVITIES
· Lead and manage all architectural works for LTA/MRT construction projects.
· Coordinate with LTA, consultants, architects, subcontractors, and internal departments.
· Review architectural drawings, method statements, material submissions, and shop drawings.
· Ensure site works comply with approved drawings, specifications, authority requirements, and quality standards.
· Monitor architectural progress, workmanship, and construction schedules.
· Resolve technical and coordination issues related to architectural works.
· Conduct inspections and ensure rectification of defects and non-conformance issues.
· Support construction planning, sequencing, and site coordination activities.
· Manage architectural subcontractors’ performance, progress claims, and work quality.
· Attend project meetings, coordination meetings, and authority inspections.
· Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) requirements and environmental regulations.
· Prepare reports, progress updates, and documentation required by management and LTA.
· Support testing & commissioning, TOP, handover, and project close-out activities.

· Knowledge in architectural finishes, waterproofing, façade, doors, ceilings, flooring, and fit-out works.
· Ability to interpret construction drawings and technical specifications.
· Familiar with QA/QC procedures, inspections, and CONQUAS standards.
· Experience in construction sequencing and coordination with structural and M&E works.
· Knowledge of BIM coordination and digital construction systems is an advantage.
5. SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
· Proficient in AutoCAD, BIM, Microsoft Office, and project coordination tools.
· Good understanding of construction methodology and site execution.
· Strong reporting and documentation skills.
· Familiar with authority submission procedures and site inspection processes.
· Good communication skills in English; Mandarin is an advantage for coordination purposes.
FORMAL EDUCATION:
Degree in Architecture, Building, Construction Management, or related discipline.

7. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Minimum 8–15 years of relevant construction experience in large-scale building or infrastructure projects.
At least 5 years of experience in LTA/MRT projects in Singapore.
Experience managing architectural works for MRT stations, depots, tunnels, or transportation infrastructure projects.
Proven experience in coordinating with LTA, consultants, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.
Experience in a main contractor environment is preferred
