Job Summary
Provide Level 2 support for Java-based applications by analyzing, troubleshooting, and resolving incidents in a production environment while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure system stability and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Provide Level 2 support for Java-based applications in production to maintain system availability and performance
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve application incidents and manage service requests to minimize downtime
- Analyze existing application code to identify issues and implement effective solutions
- Support Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions to avoid recurrence of incidents
- Write and execute SQL queries to validate data and support troubleshooting activities
- Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and business teams to coordinate issue resolution and deployment activities
- Coordinate rollback activities promptly in case of failed deployments to restore system stability
- Update configuration documentation accurately for all approved changes to maintain system records
- Restart failed batch jobs and validate output files to ensure successful job completion

- Experience working in a production support environment
