Application Engineer (Ref: 37495)
Salary: S$4,500 - S$6,000

Our client is the market leader in semiconductor test systems and equipment.

The System Application Engineer is responsible for providing semiconductor test application expertise and project delivery support to customers in Singapore. This role focuses on enabling successful device ramp, sustaining high production efficiency (OEE), and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective technical support and problem resolution.

You will also support pre-sales activities, application consultation, and customer requirement analysis, working closely with internal teams and customers to deliver optimal test solutions.

Reporting to: Manager

【Responsibilities】
- Provide application consultation to customers on test program development, conversion, and optimization.
- Develop test modules and libraries, and perform test program conversion.
- Support device ramp-up activities and ensure smooth transition into high-volume production.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, including correlation failures, low yield, and program-related challenges.
- Deliver application training sessions and technical workshops to customers.
- Support pre-sales activities, including requirement analysis and technical discussions.
- Understand customer needs and work closely with them to ensure high levels of satisfaction and operational success.

【Requirements & Preferences】
(Must)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical and/or Electronics Engineering or equivalent
- At least 2 years of experience in test program development/conversion and exposure to production test floor environments with 93k software and debugging tools
- Strong knowledge of Digital, Power, and Analog test methodologies
- Proficiency in C++, Java, and scripting languages

(Advantageous)
- Knowledge of mixed-signal testing is an advantage.
