Job Title: AI Researcher

Department: Research & Development (Innovation)

Reports To: Senior Director of Engineering/Chief AI Architect

Location: Singapore

Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent, Hybrid

Responsibilities:

• Conduct research and develop innovative solutions to solve complex technical challenges.
• Design and execute experiments following established research methodologies and protocols.
• Analyze research data, interpret results, and draw meaningful conclusions.
• Develop prototypes and proof-of-concept solutions to validate research hypotheses.
• Collaborate with team members and cross-functional teams to identify research opportunities.
• Document research findings, methodologies, and results in technical reports and publications.
• Stay current with latest advancements and emerging technologies in the field.
• Participate in literature reviews and competitive analysis.
• Contribute to patent filings and intellectual property development.
• Senior researchers are expected to lead research initiatives, mentor junior researchers, and guide technical direction.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field (Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or equivalent).
• 2-5 years of proven experience in AI research or application research (required).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with research methodology expertise.
• Proficiency in technical writing and documentation.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Experience with data analysis and statistical methods.
• Hands-on experience with Machine Learning and AI techniques.

Some experience with or good knowledge in the following will be advantageous:

• Deep Learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, JAX).
• Large Language Models (LLMs) and generative AI.
• Scientific computing and simulation tools.
• Version control and collaborative development tools.
• Academic publication and peer review process.
• Proven track record of research contributions, publications, or patents in AI/ML domain.
