Accounts Assistant (Accounts Payable)
This role involves overseeing all aspects of Accounts Payable. The candidate is responsible for providing financial and administrative work in order to ensure effective, efficient and accurate financial operations in the Finance department.
She/he is responsible for following duties:
Job Requirements:
Min qualification Diploma in Accounting or CAT or equivalent
Min 1 years of experience in AP function
Good communication skills with positive attitude
Good team player and able to work with minimal supervision
Willing to work after office hours if needed especially during month end closing
Meticulous with an eye for detail
Familiar with MS Excel applications
Able to start work immediately or in short notice
Job Scope:
Accounts payable and expenses management
Liaising with suppliers on invoices and payments
Prepare journals and data entry
Check, verify and process invoices, expense claims & reimbursements
Ensure accurate and timely closing of accounts
Check and key in accounting codes and GST into system
Assist to prepare GST reports and filing of GST
Accounts reconciliation
Bank reconciliation
Update and maintain the inventory record
Submission of monthly inventory report
Other accounting related duties as required
Assist AR functions in her absence
