Maha Yu Yi Pte Ltd is a family-run bookstore at Bras Basah Complex, offering Chinese books for all ages and supplying schools and libraries with quality Chinese literature and educational materials.

You will support daily accounting administration and ensure accuracy across invoices, payments, and records, while assisting with backend and general administrative tasks in a small team environment. This role focuses on execution-level support and does not include full set accounting.

  • Monitor invoices and follow up on outstanding payments to support smooth collections
  • Record payments and maintain accurate, up-to-date accounting records
  • Process sales and purchase invoices as part of daily operations
  • Assist with bank reconciliation and basic financial checks
  • Maintain organized filing of invoices and supporting documents for easy reference
  • Keep systems updated and help ensure records are accurate and consistent
  • Support general administrative tasks as needed
  • Basic accounting knowledge or experience in tasks such as invoicing, payments, or reconciliation support
  • Proficient in Excel and comfortable using system-based tools for data entry and tracking
  • Familiarity with accounting or ERP systems is preferred (training provided); experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central is an advantage
  • Comfortable working with Chinese documents (e.g. book titles, invoices)
  • Able to work independently in a small, collaborative team

Location and working hours: Bras Basah Complex, Singapore 180231 5.5-day work week (retail operating environment)
