Job description for Warehouse Assistant at Mdm Ling Bakery
We are looking for a responsible and physically fit Warehouse Assistant to support daily warehouse operations. The successful candidate will be involved in receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching goods while ensuring accuracy, safety, and efficiency at all times. This role requires the ability to operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts, and to handle goods weighing up to 10kg.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in daily warehouse operations including receiving, unloading, and storing of goods
Operate pallet jacks and forklifts safely to move inventory within the warehouse
Pick, pack, and prepare goods for delivery according to orders
Perform stock checks, inventory counting, and basic record-keeping
Ensure proper labelling, stacking, and storage of goods in designated areas
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the warehouse at all times
Follow workplace safety rules and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Report damaged goods, discrepancies, or safety issues to the supervisor
Assist with loading and unloading of delivery vehicles when required
Support other warehouse-related duties as assigned by management
