Job description for Unmanned Systems Flight Operator at Flare Dynamics Pte Ltd
- Operating as a pilot-in-charge (PIC) with a safety officer, as a PIC, you are required to manage clients on the ground and operate to the highest of safety standards.
- Operating drones in challenging environments.
- Operating drones in Extended Visual Line-of-sight situations.
- Doing in-house test flights.
- Monitor and maintain airworthiness of drone inventory fleet.
- Assist in upkeeping of flight operations manual as well as liaise with the relevant authorities for seeking approval in flight permits.
- Experienced in UAV building, maintenance, repair, updating of software and tuning.
- Experienced with operating UAVs in non-GPS, non-altitude hold assists mode.
- Experienced with operating UAVs through unassisted line of sight as well as using transmitted visual images (FPV)
- Experienced in the preparation and submission of Inspection Reports
- Experienced with participating in multiple project engagements concurrently.
- Experienced in communicating clearly and professionally with all stakeholders regarding flight operations, including Client, Asset Owner/Management, Authorities, and others.
- Possess a resilient attitude and ability to work around challenges.
- Willing to learn new industry techniques.
- Have a strong interest in the drone industry.
- Able to work on weekends and Public Holiday
- Able to operate independently and being resourceful
- Preferably with valid UAPL and Class 3/3A driving license
- Experience with various Ground Control Software (GCS).
- Experience in integrating, operating, and tuning a variety of UAVs
- Basic knowledge of electrical engineering and drone anatomy.
