Always seeking to improve your writing? Want to inspire others to take up the pen and conjure up a marvelous story?
We are looking for young wide-eyed wanderers who are passionate about travel and lifestyle to write a variety of articles. We are looking for people with the ability to capture the essence of what makes an experience special and unique amidst all that the rest of the world has to offer.
From understanding a huge range of travel and lifestyle products - such as activities, tours and experiences, you’ll work closely with the team to uncover the latest and greatest experiences and make them come alive through your words. Are you the writing enthusiast we’ve been searching for?
As an intern content writer, you’ll have the opportunity to:
● Explore the intricacies of various activities, tours and experiences from all over the world
● Create editorial pieces
● Work in a dynamic international start-up environment
You can also hope to learn:
● How to translate research into ideas origination
● Develop effective copywriting and creative writing skills
● Exposure to product curation and other areas
● The ability to resolve and sort out minor discrepancies quickly
Basic Requirements:
● Strong command of English
● Meticulous, Organised and Creative
● Passion for writing
● Highly adaptable due to the nature of the role
● Basic copywriting knowledge (succinct & inspirational writing)
● Quick to take action and initiative
- Portfolio with relevant work over the past 1-2 years
- Able to commit for a minimum of 3 months
Roles and Responsibilities:
● Steady output of travel articles to help us build up our content
● Work with the product curation team in identifying the best products
● Support the team as needed – we are a lean and dynamic start-up!
We’re looking for someone well-read, well-traveled, and willing to learn and grow alongside our team to help the company achieve its vision! Leveraging data from our content and social platforms, we use AI to push highly targeted and relevant products from our marketplace, that offers lifestyle products, experiences, hotels, flights, driver guides and airport transfers around the world for our users.
Backstory
Founded in 2018 and launched in August 2018, Native was founded as a mobile platform for on-demand activities and immersive experiences. Since launch, Native has found itself at position 6 on the top charts of the Apple App Stores and the number 1 position on the Android Play Store. Featuring over 2,000 activities and experiences from over 21 countries and 70 cities, the company is a booking service for activities such as attraction tickets, day tours and unique localized experiences.
In 2020, the company shifted it's focus towards being a travel and lifestyle social platform to focus on adding value to the consumer above booking of travel products. We're currently rolling this out in phases!
