Job description for Textile Designer at PT Hana Fashion
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Develop original textile prints, patterns, graphics, and motifs for women's apparel collections.
- Design seamless repeat patterns and prepare artwork files suitable for textile printing and production.
- Collaborate closely with Merchandiser, Product Development, Marketing, and Production teams throughout the product development process.
- Prepare technical design files, including print specifications, colorways, and production-ready artwork.
- Review strike-offs, print samples, and fabric samples to ensure color accuracy and design quality.
- Modify and improve designs based on feedback from internal stakeholders and market requirements.
- Maintain and organize the company's textile design library, artwork database, and design archives.
- Ensure all designs meet company standards, customer requirements, and production feasibility.
- Stay updated on emerging fashion, textile, printing technologies, and industry trends.
- Support the development of exclusive collections and special projects as assigned by management.
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and business objectives.
- Protect the confidentiality and intellectual property of all company designs and creative assets.
Qualifications : - Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Textile Design, Fashion Design, Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Textile Design, Print Design, Fashion Design, or a similar role.
- Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop and Corel Draw.
- Strong knowledge of textile prints, pattern development, color theory, and fashion trends.
- Creative, detail-oriented, and able to work under tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience in the garment, fashion, or textile industry is preferred.
