Job description for Test Manager (Software) at Glints Singapore (Recruitment)
An exciting new opportunity is available for a strong Test Manager to join our client’s expanding consulting team to work on FinTech projects within the Singapore and Australian region. Our client is an Australian firm, providing consulting services to clients in various industries such as banking & finance, government and education.
The role will be based in Singapore, and it will involve working on both local projects and also for their clients in the Australian region.
They are looking for an experienced Test Manager, who is able to manage the challenges of multiple projects and clients.
It is a direct employment with the client.
Your Skills & Experience:
- Experienced in managing test teams, and importantly to have experience in managing teams within a remote working environment.
- Strong team building skills, and the ability to ensure the team collaborates effectively.
- Previous project and application software QA capability, with strong Financial Services experience.
- Experience working with automation test tools is mandatory - with an understanding of how automation can add benefit to a project.
- Experience in defining the test strategy for a company and put in place the structure for the project including resourcing, approach, timelines and risks.
- The role will report directly to the Head of Delivery and will be expected to drive successful outcomes for our clients.
- Experience in delivering presentations and demonstrations to C-level audiences, and the skills to communicate within that environment will be highly regarded.
- Reporting experience on the progress of testing throughout the planning and test run stage, with the ability to communicate and escalate issues clearly.
- Experience working on mission critical systems ideally within the Banking or Financial Services sector.
- Testing certification (ideal), or similar industry software certification.
- Excellent communication skills, both written/verbal communication.
- Experience working with teams in other geographical locations will be highly regarded.
