Job description for Supplier Relationship Manager at French Chamber Of Commerce In Singapore
On behalf of one of its clients, in the Maritime sector, the French Chamber of Commerce is looking for a
Supplier Relationship Manager
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain and upkeep supplier database
- Collate and file all documentations for suppliers’ qualification
- Develop and drive suppliers’ scorecards for performance improvement
- Prepare and submit the supplier periodic assessment report to Management
- Provide periodic feedback to suppliers on their performance
- Enhance suppliers relationship by developing and continually improving upon post-award supplier processes
- Provide technical guidance to key stakeholders working within the supply chain
- Promote and monitor the implementation of an integrated supply chain involving key supply chain stakeholders at all levels of the system
- Offer inputs regarding negotiation processes and related tools
- Support the development of supplier strategies, bid packages, and contracts
- Perform supplier audits to review actively and measure supplier compliance
- Create supplier segmentation analysis for specific supplier areas based on risk and value
- Liaise with Supplier Quality Managers in Headquarters to maintain a group approved supplier base
- Implementing supplier management activities, internal policies, standards, templates and best practices with Headquarters
- Collect, analyse and manage data pertaining to the service providers
- Any other responsibilities as instructed by your management
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent professional certifications
- Preferably with 3 years of experience in Supplier Relationship Management and dealing with contracts
- Experience as a Supplier Relationship Manager in the Defence industry is mandatory.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and concisely both orally and in writing, and lead effective meetings
- Being able to speak French is advantageous to liaise with the HQ in France but it's not mandatory
- Strong knowledge of MS Office applications
- Experience in using SAP B1 is a plus
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Demonstrated integrity, independent thinking, judgment, and respect for others
