Âme Bistro is a French-inspired neighborhood bistro focused on creative breakfasts, seasonal ingredients, and specialty coffee culture.
We are looking for a Chef / Sous Chef who is organized, reliable, and passionate about quality food.
CHEF / SOUS CHEF
Qualifications:
1. Able to join immediately and willing to work flexible schedules, from morning to afternoon/evening shifts.
2. Minimum 2 years of experience in the relevant field is preferred.
3. Able to multitask, cooperative, and able to work well in a team.
4. Strong understanding of kitchen organization and food cost control.
5. Attention to quality, consistency and detail.
6. Able to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
7. Good English communication skills.
8. Local candidates already living in Bali.
General Duties and Responsibilities:
- Anaging daily kitchen operations.
- Maintaining and following recipe standards (tech cards).
- Monitoring food quality, consistency and plating.
- Inventory management and stock control.
- Communicating with existing suppliers and sourcing new suppliers when needed.
- Ensuring efficient product ordering and storage.
- Supporting development of new dishes and seasonal menu updates.
- Supervising kitchen staff and maintaining kitchen organization and cleanliness.
