Job description for Software QA Tester at PT Geek Seat Indonesia
We are currently looking for an experienced Software Tester to join our Awesome Engineering Team in Bali or Bandung.
As a Software Tester you will conduct tests, analyze the results, and your report observations to the team. You may also interact with clients to understand the requirements of the product.
The Role
In this role you will:
- Review software requirements and preparing test scenarios.
- Execute tests on software usability.
- Analyze test results on database impact, errors or bugs, and usability.
- Prepare reports on all aspects related to software testing carried out, and report this to the Project Manager, and QA Manager
- Interact with clients to understand product requirements.
- Provide concise documentation related to testing a project.
General requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Computer Science/IT/Management
- Actively working in a testing position at present, or recently
- Strong knowledge of the fundamentals of testing — test design, planning, strategy, test approaches & techniques, and bug advocacy
- Strong interest in the software development business area, especially software testing.
- Experience working with test script writing, test cases, test documentations, and bug reports.
- Fluent in English – both written and oral communication skills
- Good communication skills.
Is considered advantageous:
- Experience of the full test life cycle.
- Experience of software testing practices such as unit testing, regression testing, sanity testing, stress testing, stress testing, performance and load testing.
- Experience using testing tools.
- Experience of automation testing.
