Whether your focus is frontend, backend, or full-stack, you’ll build scalable solutions, learn agile development, and gain mentorship from Glints’ high-performance engineering team.

What You'll Be Doing

In this role, you will:

• Collaborate with an agile development team to support the delivery of impactful web features and improvements.
• Assist in building and testing web application features, primarily using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and React or similar frameworks.
• Support frontend development tasks such as fixing bugs, improving UI, or implementing small features under close guidance.
• Participate in code reviews, and team discussions where you will learn industry best practices and coding standards.
• Be mentored by team members and gradually take on more responsibility as you grow in technical confidence and capability.

• Guided Mentorship: Every GFLP intern is paired with a Hiring Manager (Mentor) for professional growth and a Team Buddy for social integration within the assigned department.
• High-stakes Projects: Work on a key project independently or as a team to solve a real-business problem with potential for implementation.
• Leadership Access: Gathering and sharing sessions with our key leaders, founders and CEO, and participate in our key business review meetings. Post-Internship Recognition: At the end of your internship, you will present your key project/learnings to a leadership panel and receive a "GFLP Certificate" as an endorsement. You will also be evaluated based on your project and work outcomes for a full-time conversion opportunity (priority for final year students or graduates).

Who We Are Looking For

We’re looking for enthusiastic learners who are passionate about web development and eager to grow through hands-on experience. While we don’t expect interns to be experts, we value a strong foundation, curiosity, and a willingness to learn.

Competencies

- Web Fundamentals: Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and TypeScript.

- Frontend Development: Some experience in React and frameworks like Next.js, and a desire to learn how modern web applications are built.

- APIs: Basic understanding of how web apps communicate with backend services using REST or GraphQL.

- Version Control: Familiarity with Git for tracking code changes and collaborating with a team.

- Responsive Design: Awareness of responsive design principles and the ability to create layouts that work across devices.

- Performance Awareness: Interest in learning how to make websites fast and efficient.

- Security Awareness: Open to learning best practices for keeping web applications secure.

Soft Skills

- Problem-Solving: A logical mindset and curiosity to debug and figure things out.

- Communication: Ability to ask good questions, explain what you're working on, and share progress or blockers clearly.

- Team Collaboration: Willingness to work closely with peers and mentors, and to contribute to a supportive team environment.

- Adaptability: Comfortable learning new tools, frameworks, and adapting to feedback.

- Attention to Detail: Care in writing clean, working code and testing what you build.

- Continuous Learning: Enthusiasm for improving your skills and keeping up with web development trends.
