Job description for Social Media/ Community Manager at Vietcetera
- Create and execute community strategy and initiatives
- Develop and expand community and/or influencer outreach efforts.
- Facilitate meaningful partnerships with influencer platforms, influencers, and KOLs
- Work with Marketing Director, marketing team, and other stakeholders to drive Ambassador Marketing initiatives, including referral / viral marketing features, community engagement, and open publishing program
- Establish and nurture relationships with distribution channels: including other news outlets, Facebook groups, micro-influencers
- Work with Marketing Director, marketing team, and other stakeholders for the development of brand identity, awareness, and online reputation (app reviews..)
- Become an advocate for the company in social media spaces, engaging in dialogues and answering questions where appropriate.
- Monitor and report on feedback, comments, and online reviews
- Organize and participate in events to build community and boost brand awareness
- Coordinate with Marketing, PR, Content, and Business Development teams to ensure brand consistency
- Act as the face and voice of our brand and manage all community communications.
- Develop a program of community events
- Minimum 2 years of experience as community manager with a successful track record
- Experience and success launching community initiatives (e.g. building an online forum, launching an ambassador program, creating an event series and writing an email newsletter)
- Excellent service-oriented attitude: the ability to moderate online and offline conversations with our community.
- You think out of the box and are proactive in coming up with new ways to build, engage, and grow our community of readers, audience, ambassadors, and advocates across all platforms.
- You are passionate about Vietcetera’s mission, content, and building a robust community
- You demonstrate winning Social Customer Service techniques such as empathy, patience, advocacy and conflict resolution
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills and is able to develop engaging content.
- Deep knowledge of online marketing and marketing channels, and familiarity with retention/ engagement/ referral features (growth funnel)
- Proficiency in both Vietnamese and English. At this time we are not able to consider international candidates or sponsor work visas.
