Job description for Social Media & Audience Manager at The Jakarta Post
- Plan, create and report attractive promotions on social networks for readers and sponsored content (stories and videos) on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
- Monitor and secure adequate copies of all social media content by effective storytelling and persuasive visuals
- Lead moderation of conversations and response to viewers on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
- Collaborate to lead any external engagements program pertaining to readers’ engagement and/or community engagements
- Ensuring at least 3 posts/content that each generate more than 1,000 likes and more than 5 comments on every platform (Instagram/Twitter) every week.
- Planning a thematic campaign/quiz/poll based on National Day, historical events, investigative reports or current events that generate high engagement on social media. At least twice a month.
- Ensuring 6 posts/content that each generate more than 1,000 likes and more than 5 comments on every platform (Instagram/Twitter) every week.
- Planning a thematic campaign/quiz/poll based on National Day, historical events, investigative reports or current events that generate high engagement on social media. At least twice a month.
- Planning creative campaigns to promote digital subscription and other products of The Jakarta Post that increase numbers of paying subscribers and advertisers.
- Proven records of running impactful digital campaigns that generate significant followers/subscribers/buyers of the products
- Experience in working on commercial copies and records of the materials
- Good taste in design and knowledge about The Jakarta Post’s brand and audience
- Advanced creative writing and designing skill.
- Good command of English and experience in similar roles
- Advanced-level skill in using designing/photo-video editing tools like Canva
