Job description for Site Maintenance Electrical Boiler Tangerang at PT Tasma Bioenergy Indonesia (Group of BECIS)
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on boiler electrical systems (including control panels, electric motors, relays, sensors, and wiring) to ensure optimal and safe operation.
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults such as short circuits, PLC failures, or inverter issues in boiler systems.
- Perform testing and calibration of electrical components using tools like multimeters, insulation testers, and oscilloscopes, ensuring proper grounding and protection.
- Monitor and analyze data from boiler control systems (DCS/SCADA) to detect early anomalies.
- Collaborate with mechanical and instrumentation teams for integrated troubleshooting on boilers.
- Prepare electrical maintenance reports, including root cause failure analysis (RCFA) and spare parts recommendations.
- Comply with electrical safety standards (SLO: Electrical Operation Certificate, LOTO), including energy isolation before repairs.
- Support installation or upgrades to boiler automation systems, such as PLC retrofits or IoT sensors.
Qualifications:
- Minimum D3 in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, or related field; S1 in Electrical Engineering preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical maintenance of industrial boilers or steam generation systems (experience in power plants, textile factories, or petrochemicals is a plus).
- Hold certifications such as SIO (Electrical Operation Permit) for Medium/High Voltage K3 from Indonesian Ministry of Manpower, Boiler Brevet with electrical module, or PLC certification (Siemens/Allen-Bradley).
- Proficient in troubleshooting control systems (PLC, HMI, VFD) and reading single line diagrams (SLD) and electrical schematics.
- Knowledge of IEC, NEC, or PUIL standards for industrial electrical installations; experience with EPLAN or AutoCAD Electrical is advantageous.
- Ability to work with voltages up to 20kV, including HT/LT switchgear.
- Physically fit, willing to work shifts (including nights/weekends), and available for on-site factory placement.
- Fluent in Indonesian; technical English for reading manuals is a plus.
