Position Overview
* We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Shadow Teacher to support students with special needs.
* This role plays a vital part in assisting students academically, emotionally, and socially.
* The Shadow Teacher works closely with the main teacher and the educational team to ensure individualized learning support.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist the main teacher in delivering lessons tailored to individual student needs.
* Provide one-on-one support and facilitate small group learning activities.
* Prepare learning materials and instructional resources.
* Support students in maintaining focus, engagement, and positive behavior.
* Create a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
* Encourage students’ academic progress, independence, and personal development.
* Collaborate closely with teachers, therapists, and staff members.
* Build strong, supportive relationships with students and their families.
* Monitor student progress and address challenges during the learning process.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Female/Male candidate
* Bachelor’s degree with a major in: education, Psychology or Special Education
* 1–3 years of teaching experience (experience with special needs students is an advantage)
* Fluent in English
* Locatiob: Jakarta Timur
