Job description for Senior HR Manager South Asia & Oceania at Wilhelmsen Ships Service (S) Pte Ltd
- Pro-actively engage with local and area management fronting HR related topics and contributing to deliver on business strategy and goals.
- Contribute with local knowledge and execute required tasks related to organizational change, restructuring, mergers and acquisitions etc.
- Ensure implementation and compliance to the global HR processes including provide advice, support and training to local management and employees on personnel related topics.
- Act as a business partner and advisor to local Managers on HR and People related topics
- Ensure compliance to local employment laws and regulations including correct administration of payroll, benefits, pension and insurances and leave registration.
- Manage the local HR teams in South Asia & Oceania while representing the team & coordinate delivery of geography-wide initiatives & communications (e.g. annual budget targets, follow-up on annual people processes)
- Bachelor degree, preferably from Human Resource Management / business administration or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years relevant work experience within HR
- Understanding of HR processes and tools, and knowledge of local labour law and regulations.
- Understanding of the business and how HR can contribute to delivering on business strategy and goals.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate and cooperate with employees and managers on all levels of our organisation.
- Comfortable with digital technology and solutions supporting HR and People processes (e.g. Workday)
- Proven communication skills.
