The ideal candidate is a creative problem solver who will work in coordination with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain our next generation websites and web tools. You must be comfortable working as part of a team while taking the initiative to take lead on new initiatives and projects.
Responsibilities
- Engage with our partners, discuss, brainstorm and propose solutions
- Develop our platforms according to list of enhancements identified and prioritized by management
- Engage in product development discussions with other stakeholders (internal and external) and brainstorm solution ideas
- Actively contribute constructively to discussions and constantly providing feedbak to improve the company's systems and processes
- Detailed analysis of tasks/ projects, attain full business requirements understanding and perform thorough impact analysis
- Adopt high-efficiency and high-securiy coding approach
- Revise, edit, proofread & optimize web content
- Perform code reviews, unit testing, and continuous integration
- Work cross-functionally to enhance overall user experience of our platforms
- Own various design tasks involved in the web development life cycle from start to finish
- Assist in general IT-related topics within the company
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in PHP 5/7 + various libraries and PHP framework (eg. CodeIgniter) is a must
- Experience in CI/CD approaches and tools
- Possess a 'Can-do' attititude - make complex solutions become a reality
