Job description for Senior Corporate Finance Executive at Capital C Corporation Pte Ltd
Job Description:
- Proven track record in capital raising or possess experience relevant to the space (preferably micro-financing)
- Work closely with senior management in devising fund-raising and identify potential investors.
- Liaison and coordination with financial and strategic investors.
- Assist in the evaluation, structuring and execution of merger, acquisition, disposal, financing and restructuring transactions from time to time
- Apply knowledge in accounting standards to determine the impact of any transaction on the Company’s financial projections
- Ensure that any transaction to be undertaken is in-line with the company’s directions and viable from commercial, financial and regulatory perspectives
- Manage certain aspects of a transaction such as working level discussions, due diligence process and liaising with all parties involved in a transaction
- Prepare presentations on proposed transactions to the Management team
- Liaise with relevant internal and external stakeholders (i.e. marketing team, accountants, lawyers, financial experts and regulatory bodies)
- Development of valuation, financial and strategic analysis using valuation and pitchbook formats
Requirements:
- Exposure to relevant transactions through Corporate Finance, Investment Banking, Private Equity
- Well-developed valuation, financial analysis and modeling skills, including the ability to develop a financial model from scratch
- Ability to logically structure a deliverable / storyboard
- VC/PE/Credit and Debt Funds/Family office network contacts is a plus
- Driven team player, analytical self-starter and eloquent
- Excellent and strong communication, negotiation, presentation skills (ability to converse in Mandarin will be an added advantage, to liaise with the Mandarin speaking associates)
- An investment banking or corporate finance background in SMEs would be a plus
- Work with service providers eg. Preqin to come up with Asian and then global investor proprietary database and network map
- To be able to formulate ideas, presentation material (working with marketing), facts and figures (industry and company) and work independently to pitch capital raising ideas to investors
- Able to work on ad-hoc projects related to capital raising and corporate business development from time to time
- To maintain, develop and retain existing investor relations and requests as well as co-ordinate future projects to fruition throughout the entirety of the company’s fund raising endeavors
