Job description for Senior Art Director at The Idea Laboratory
If we throw you some copy, a couple of pictures and some logos, and you can create a beautiful layout with them, we want you. You need to have a sweet nature plus a never-say-die attitude, because the clients don't - we don't want to lie. Seeing the big idea is never a problem for you, your craft depends on it.
Of course, you're a wizard with photoshop, illustrator and the usual bells and whistles. If you have experience leading a team, so much the better.
A strong background in content creation for the digital sphere (FB, Insta, Tik Tok) is a must.
Jobscope
- Hands on creative development from concept to implementation. Provide quality assurance of all creative deliverables.
- Develop compelling creative campaigns across physical and digital media, social platforms, on ground etc
- Work closely with other cross functional teams to formulate appropriate overall strategy for a projects and/or client.
- Manage and grow / motivate the design teams.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in advertising or digital marketing agency in a creative role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Visual Communications, Interactive Designs or relevant field.
- Possess an understanding of print and interactive communications and delivery systems, processes as well as industry best practices.
- Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamental, typography & limitations of both print and digital.
- Ability to storyboard or translate ideas to designers and the team.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Ability to grow and motivate the team.
