Job description for Security Engineer at PT Shell Infotek Indonesia (Shell Infotech)
The resources are essential to:
1. 2–5+ years working and experience with EDR ( Plus score if experience with CrowdStrike )
2. Multiple enterprise CrowdStrike deployments
3. Experience migrating from other AV/ EDR solutions
4. Experience troubleshooting Falcon installation and communication issues
5. Experience managing policies, host groups, and RBAC
Primary Responsibilities
• Uninstallation of existing Sophos agent
• Deploy and onboard endpoints to CrowdStrike Falcon Defend
• Configure Falcon policies and prevention settings
• Create and manage host groups
• Configure sensor update policies
• Investigate deployment issues and sensor health problems
• Tune detections and reduce false positives
• Implement exclusions and exceptions according to security requirements
• Support pilot, rollout, and production deployment phases
• Integrate CrowdStrike with ticketing systems when required
• Produce deployment and operational documentation

The resources must demonstrate strong professional conduct and working style, including the ability to maintain a professional, collaborative, and customer-focused attitude while working effectively with IT, Security, Infrastructure, and Operations teams. The resource must be selfmotivated, able to work independently with minimal supervision, and demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. They should proactively identify and escalate risks and issues, take ownership of assigned deliverables, and ensure accountability. The engineer must be able to manage multiple tasks within project timelines, adapt to dynamic environments, and comply with organizational policies, procedures, and security requirements.
