Job description for Sales Lead (Events) at Simple Group Vietnam
- Source new leads through various online and offline channels, and book meetings to assess and explore potential partnership opportunities
- Create and build strong relationships with new clientele that include potential partners, investors, event speakers, KOLs and sales prospects
- Actively negotiate and close business deals, to ensure KPIs and targets are met
- Create sales pitches and presentation decks as and when required
- Conduct comprehensive market research to to accumulate leads and ensure a healthy sales pipeline
- Work with the marketing teams for masterminding digital campaigns and canvassing. Qualify inbound leads/inquiries coming through social channels
- Develop WIN-WIN solutions for clients and establish long-term partnerships
- Connect with local authorities and understand requirements/compliance to be fulfilled, for the upcoming events and programmes
- Regular updates to the management on progress of business development work and the sales situation and projections
- Bachelor’s degree or a diploma in business related disciplines
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, ideally coming from events, or an agency background. F&B operations background is a big plus!
- Seasoned presenter capable of pitching ideas to stakeholders in a convincing manner and sensibly negotiate
- Proven ability in conducting extensive research effectively, for potential leads and due diligence
- A reliable team-player who can juggle between tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills with command in both English and Vietnamese (written & spoken)
