Job description for Sales Consultant at Kompeten
Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain premium showroom presentation and customer experience standards
- Support showroom events, product launches, and client activations
- Ensure all leads and client interactions are accurately recorded in the tracking system
- Own the full sales cycle from initial showroom visit to signed contract
- Deliver high-quality product presentations covering modular systems, materials, and engineering features
- Provide tailored kitchen consultations including layout planning, configuration, material selection, and renovation integration
- Prepare detailed design proposals and quotations for qualified prospects
- Execute structured follow-ups on all active leads
- Handle pricing discussions, negotiations, and objection management with high-value clients
- Coordinate post-sale handover to the operations team with complete project brief
- Build and maintain relationships with architects, interior designers, and property developers
- Represent the brand in industry events, workshops, and networking sessions
- Support the product specification process with technical documentation and material samples
- Conduct external client or partner visits when required
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in premium showroom or consultative sales
- At least 1 year of experience working with architects, interior designers, or developers
- Proven track record of closing transactions valued at IDR 300 million or above
- Based in Jakarta and willing to work onsite at Jakarta Design Center (JDC)
- Native fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and conversational English
- Background in premium brands (kitchen, sanitary, interior, or related industries)
- Existing network within Jakarta’s architecture and interior design community
- Experience handling project-based sales with 2–4 month decision cycles
