Market Research for Marpol - Maritime Waste Collection and other Industrial waste (Freelance) Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Carry out market research and identify potential target clients, specifically in maritime sector
- Work closely with clients on proposal presentation, and follow up on clients' queries and requests
- Experienced in interpreting and formulating data
- Experienced in conceptualizing and designing analysis framework/model
Qualifications:
- Degree/Diploma qualification, majoring preferably in related majors
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a diligent eye for detail, language, flow, and grammar (English is preferable)
- Positive, proactive, and Commit to the schedule for the assigned tasks.
- Have excellent communication skills and good teamwork.
- Able to work under pressure
Some of the focus of studies that must be carried out:
- Collecting data (and analysis) of ship entry statistics for the last 5 years
- Recapitulating the existing laws and regulations regarding the Marpol agreement and the format of the agreement transposition
- Conduct research on administrative, technical and financial requirements imposed by the Port Authority
- Conducting interviews with the Port Authority and other related parties
- Marine waste management flow
- etc.
