Job description
Responsibilities:
- Define, develop and implement quality assurance practices and procedures, test plans and other QA assessments.
- Work directly with Project Development Team and Maintenance Team to understand project objectives and approach of software development projects.
- Involve in Project Implementation aspects that include assisting the Project Manager in the following:
- Perform internal testing and to check, rectify and test system on program error.
- Preparing test cases, training and user manual documentations
- Performing UAT with users, tracking defect log and perform impact analysis on the defect items, categorize the defects into enhancement (if any), reporting UAT progress and status update to project manager and client’s project managers & business sponsors and obtain UAT sign-off
- Conducting training / hand-holding sessions with users and to guide them to troubleshoot the system to resolve software issues or problems.
- Communicate and work closely with Software Development Team on problems reported or enhancements needed for the software.
Requirements:
- Min Degree in Information Technology/Computer Science/ Computer Engineering
- Preferably > 1 year experience in IT Industry managing large-scale applications project
- Fresh Graduates are welcome to apply. Training and on-job-training will be provided.
- Experience in VB.Net, ASP.net, Microsoft SQL Server, Macromedia Dreamweaver and Adobe Photoshop will be an advantage
- Ability to multi task and to work under pressure
- Strong Analytical and Problem Solving Skills
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral
- Customer Service oriented
