Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Tester to ensure the accuracy and integrity of our banking data. You will be responsible for validating data flows within a Big Data environment and ensuring high-quality reporting for our business users.
Key Responsibilities
Perform data validation and testing using SQL within Cloudera (Impala/Hive) environments.
Develop automation scripts for data reconciliation using Python and Macro/VBA.
Validate data accuracy and visualization logic in Qliksense dashboards.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define test scenarios based on specific User Testing Areas.
Present test findings and quality reports clearly to technical and non-technical teams.
Requirements
Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and Macro/VBA.
Platform Knowledge: Experience with Cloudera (Impala or Hive) and Qliksense.
Domain Expertise: Solid understanding of Banking knowledge and financial data processes.
Language: Professional fluency in English is a must (written and spoken).
Soft Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Analytical Mindset: High attention to detail regarding data logic and business requirements.
