Job description for Purchasing Export Import at PT TIGA WARNA PRIMER

Location: Tangerang City
Working Days: Monday – Saturday (Saturday Half Day)
Job Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end purchasing activities for local and overseas suppliers.
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to achieve the best quality, cost, and delivery.
- Prepare and process Purchase Orders (PO) while ensuring timely procurement.
- Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, shipping lines, and customs brokers regarding import and export shipments.
- Handle and review import/export documentation, including Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading/Air Waybill, Certificate of Origin, and other related documents.
- Monitor shipment schedules and ensure on-time delivery.
- Resolve procurement and logistics issues efficiently.
- Maintain supplier database and build long-term supplier relationships.
- Work closely with Production, Warehouse, Finance, and other departments to support operational requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in any discipline (Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Industrial Engineering, or related fields is preferred).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Purchasing.
- Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
- Good understanding of procurement processes and purchasing documentation.
- Experience or knowledge in Export & Import procedures will be a strong advantage.
- Familiar with import/export documents and shipment coordination.
- Able to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and highly responsible.
