Job description for Purchasing & PPIC Staff at Alamii Food
We are looking for a detail-oriented, data-driven, and proactive professional to join our team as a Purchasing & PPIC Staff.
What You Will Do:
- Manage end-to-end purchasing activities
- Negotiate pricing, lead time, and commercial terms with supplier
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure reliability and performance
- Ensure all materials are delivered on time and in accordance with production requirements
- Track supplier performance (cost, quality, and delivery)
- Coordinate with internal teams to align purchasing with operational needs
- Support material planning and optimize inventory monitoring to prevent shortages or overstock
- Maintain accurate purchasing data and documentation in the system
- Be on top of sales forecast to anticipate purchasing demands
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Purchasing within FMCG industry
- Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
- Good understanding of purchasing processes and supply continuity
- Basic understanding of inventory flow / material planning (PPIC exposure is a plus)
- Data driven and resourceful
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work under deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
