Job description for Psychologist at Rainbow Centre
We are looking for a Psychologist to join our team of Allied Professionals to improve the quality of life of persons with special needs through effective psychological services so that they can achieve their highest level of independence and lead thriving lives. The postholder will be working as part of an interdisciplinary team, and will be responsible for the delivery of quality psychological services across a variety of settings at Rainbow Centre.
Key responsibilities:
To conduct psychological evaluations and assessments for children
To be involved in behavioural intervention for children
To work with parents, teachers & a multidisciplinary team of other specialists/therapists
To conduct training programmes for staff and parents.
Requirements:
A Master Degree in Applied Psychology
Eligible for registration in Singapore Register of Psychologists with Singapore Psychological Society
Relevant experience in working with children & youth with special needs/disabilities, preferably in a school setting.
