Job description for Project Manager Banking at Lawencon International
Responsibilities:
- Lead project planning and coordination to define scope, objectives, deliverables, and develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resources allocation.
- Manage and assist project team during analysis, design, development, testing and implementation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders in Jakarta and Regional to ensure project objectives are met and are aligned with regional standard and practice.
- Provide technical direction and guidance to the project team to review and ensure all technical aspects are in line with best practices, standards and bank's policy
- Review and validate designs and technical documentations
- Identify risks during the project, assess/develop mitigation strategies and/or escalate whenever necessary.
- Handle project changes and ensure that deliverables meet quality standards and stakeholders’ expectations.
- Ensure system development compliance with company policy and banking regulations and meet all quality standards
- Work together with the development team in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with the IT Regional team in executing/supporting Regional Initiative rollout.
- Provide regular update to stakeholders on project progress, risks, issues or any changes to timelines and scope
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- At least 3 years of experience in managing software development projects, specifically within banking or financial services industry
- Proven track record of managing projects related to internal and external web application development, systems upgrade and integration
- Strong understanding of banking IT systems, enterprise architecture, and cybersecurity protocols
- Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC) and methodologies (i.e Waterfall, Agile)
- Proficiency in software development technology, for example .NET framework, front-end and back-end development, API integration, DevOps, etc.
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server or other relational databases, including proficiency in database design and writing queries.
- Project Management Professional (PMP), Scrum Master or equivalent certification preferred
- Knowledge in low-code development platform, i.e K2 workflow, M365 technology, i.e Sharepoint, PowerApps, is an advantage
- Strong communication skills especially to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to address and resolve technical challenges as they arise
