Project Estimator

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s or Diploma Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
2. Minimum 1–2 years of experience in construction estimation or quantity surveying
3. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, AutoCAD, SAP2000 and estimation software
4. Strong analytical and numerical skills
5. Able to read and interpret architectural and technical drawings
6. Detail-oriented, organized, and deadline-driven
7. Familiar with construction materials, methods, and local pricing standards
8. Able to work independently and communicate effectively with project teams

Key Responsibilities:

1. Prepare detailed Bill of Quantities (BoQ) and cost estimates for construction and property projects
2. Analyze project drawings, specifications, and scope of work to determine accurate estimates
3. Coordinate with architects, engineers, and suppliers for cost validation
4. Monitor and update pricing databases for labor, materials, and subcontractors
5. Review tender documents and assist in preparing bidding proposals
6. Conduct site visits when needed to gather information and verify field conditions
7. Assist project managers in controlling budgets and minimizing cost overruns
8. Provide value engineering suggestions to optimize costs without compromising quality
