Job description for Programme Coordinator (Student Care Centre) – 1-Year Contract at Care Community Services Society
As a Programme Coordinator, you will manage children in our after-school student care centres. You will assist children with their homework, and ensure the safety and well-being of the children at all times. You will also guide them in managing their behaviours. You will organise and conduct creative learning activities, and support the holistic development of the children with programmes and events during school holidays. You will be reporting to the Centre Supervisor.
Requirements
• Passionate in reaching out to and empowering children (7 to 12 years old) especially those from the disadvantaged background
• Must love children yet be able to be firm and patient
• Observant and able to work independently with less supervision
• Enjoy working in a high-energy & dynamic environment
• Able to work 6 hours (afternoon) during school term and 8 hours during school holiday (March, June, Sept and Dec)
• Willing to travel to student care centres at Eunos Primary School, Stamford Primary School, Jiemin Primary School and New Town Primary School
• Able to converse with students in English
• Prefer to have 1 year of working experience in student care centre
• Minimum GCE 'O' Level
• Contract renewable based on performance and business outlook
