Job description for Programme Assistant / Executive (CareLibrary) at Care Community Services Society
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct and facilitate activities and programs employing the right posture of speech, positive and effective language/instructions, and engage each participant as effectively as possible.
- Conduct a virtual 1-1 E-engagement program to stimulate interactive cognitive engagement.
- Assess the participants’ profile, including, for example, cognitive, behavioral and functional abilities, to tailor appropriate care according to their needs.
- Build and maintain good inter-personal relationships with clients, caregivers, volunteers and the community.
- Assist in the sourcing and creation of cognitive activities to improve and rejuvenate refresh resources and activities used.
- Assist the Director of Program in the logistic preparation, volunteer management, centre administration, clients’ queries and other ad-hoc projects.
- Assist to identify caregivers need and organize events to support caregivers
- Adhere to the instructions and guidelines and upheld an excellent standards of quality control and compliance of procedures in all aspects of care delivery.
Job Requirements:
- A passion and desire to work with persons with Alzheimer/Dementia
- Able to facilitate programs employing person-centered care approach, positive and effective language skills to engage participants
- A good interpersonal skills to build strategic relationship with the caregivers and render support by providing useful information
- Relevant education in mental health, social work or related field study in gerontology
- Relevant experience in geriatric services and program execution for dementia clients
- Able to perform administrative tasks and possess basic Microsoft office literacy
- 5-day work-week; From Monday to Friday, 8.30 am to 6pm
