Job description for Programme and Project Manager at Blacklight Consultancy Services Pte. Ltd.
As a Project Manager in the Blacklight team, you will be supporting digital transformation
projects which aim to provide our clients with better operational model and technology tool to
manage and simplify their data management and analytics processes.
This is achieved by coordinating with all project stakeholders, as well as assisting clients to
execute their business strategy by optimising the use of data and information and enabling
businesses to realise their objectives through insights from the data and provide the right
information to the right people at the right time.
Responsibilities:
Provide project management support
Develop detailed project plan to monitor and track progress to ensure projects are
delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
Coordinate resources and work closely with both internal & external stakeholders to
ensure the successful execution of multiple projects
Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs
Measure performance using appropriate project management tools and techniques
Ensure any critical issues are reported and escalated as needed
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
Develop reporting tools and process maps to support project implementation
Develop and deliver specialised advisory approach and models in Data Analytics
including Data Warehousing and Reporting, solution design, solution development,
and system implementation, to clients across different industries
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree, preferably in Information Technology related disciplines such as
Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information System, Statistics,
Mathematics, etc
Basic understanding of programming languages (e.g. Python, C/C++, etc.) will be a
plus
Strong proficiency in PowerPoint and MS office suite is essential.
Strong analytical mindset with solid problem-solving skills, and ability to analyse
complex data, identify core issues, investigate, evaluate, and reach appropriate
conclusions/solutions
Understanding of project management concepts, including different approaches to
delivery. Minimally 2-year experience in project management, preferably within a top
tier organisation dealing with senior stakeholders. Experience may include running
internal projects or change programmes within a large complex environment
Able to manage multiple tasks / priorities and meeting milestones with time, cost, and
quality constraints.
Good organisational skills, detail-conscious, pro-active, hard-working, and resilient
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Enjoy working in a consulting environment, and able to work in an unstructured
environment, through adopting techniques and frameworks to create structure where
it doesn't exist.
Candidates with less experience will be considered for a more junior role
