PRODUCTION MANAGER
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the overall garment production process to ensure production targets, quality standards, and shipment deadlines are achieved.
Plan, organize, and control daily production activities across all production lines.
Monitor production schedules and coordinate with all related departments including Development, Purchasing, Cutting, Sewing, QC, Warehouse, and Finishing.
Ensure smooth workflow and maximum production efficiency while minimizing downtime and production waste.
Analyze production capacity, manpower allocation, and machine utilization to optimize productivity.
Supervise production teams and provide leadership, coaching, and performance evaluations to supervisors and operators.
Ensure production output meets company quality standards and customer requirements.
Identify operational issues and implement corrective and preventive actions effectively.
Monitor production costs and support cost-efficiency improvement initiatives.
Prepare and maintain production reports, line performance reports, and delivery status updates for management review.
Ensure compliance with company SOP, safety standards, and garment manufacturing procedures.
Support management in implementing continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.
Handle urgent production challenges and provide quick problem-solving solutions.
Coordinate subcontract production if required to support delivery commitments.
Maintain strong communication and collaboration between departments to ensure smooth operations.
Enhancing sewing team performance by developing operators’ skills through training, improving efficiency, and maintaining proper line balancing to achieve optimal productivity and quality.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Textile Engineering, Fashion/Garment Manufacturing, or related field is preferred.
Minimum 5–8 years of experience in garment manufacturing, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
Strong understanding of garment production flow, sewing construction, quality control, and industrial engineering.
Experienced in handling large-scale garment production and multiple production lines.
Strong leadership and people management skills.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Strong communication and coordination skills.
Familiar with production planning, efficiency monitoring, KPI analysis, and reporting systems.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
