Procurement & Supply Specialist

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Sourcing & Procurement

•      Source construction materials (structure, finishes, MEP, landscaping) from local, regional and international suppliers

•      Source FF&E items in line with interior design specifications — furniture, lighting, sanitary ware, hardware, soft furnishings

•      Build and maintain an up-to-date supplier and price database covering the Bali and wider Indonesia market

•      Identify alternative suppliers and products to improve cost efficiency or quality when needed

Offer Verification & Cost Control

•      Review and benchmark contractor and supplier quotations against current market prices

•      Identify overpriced or non-standard line items in outside contractor offers

•      Prepare comparison sheets (apples-to-apples) to support management decisions

•      Flag discrepancies, substitutions or missing scope items in third-party proposals

Negotiation & Supplier Relations

•      Negotiate prices, payment terms and delivery schedules with suppliers and vendors

•      Establish and maintain long-term relationships with reliable local and regional suppliers

•      Conduct market visits to showrooms, warehouses, and supplier’s facilities

•      Manage supplier vetting and qualification — quality checks, reliability assessment, references

Logistics & Documentation

•      Coordinate delivery schedules with project site teams to align procurement with construction timelines

•      Manage purchase orders, delivery notes and supplier invoices

•      Support quality inspection of delivered goods against specifications and samples

•      Assist with import processes and customs documentation for internationally sourced items

REQUIREMENTS

Essential

•      Native Bahasa Indonesia speaker; Balinese language skills highly preferred

•      Minimum 3 years experience in procurement, purchasing or supply chain in construction or interior projects

•      Strong knowledge of the Bali construction material market and local vendors

•      Proven negotiation skills with demonstrated ability to achieve cost savings

•      Ability to read and understand technical drawings, material specifications and BOQs

Preferred

•      Good working English (spoken and written) for communication with management

•      Experience sourcing FF&E for hospitality, villa or residential interior projects

•      Existing supplier network in Bali, Java or Lombok

•      Familiarity with import/export procedures for goods entering Indonesia

•      Proficiency in Excel and basic project management tools
