About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive PQA (Product Quality Assurance) professional to support software quality assurance processes across system development and deployment activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in software testing, API validation, and microservices-based systems, with the ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Create and compile test case scenarios based on system requirements.
- Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and ensure features function according to business requirements.
- Test microservices-based systems.
- Perform API testing including request/response validation, status code checking, and payload validation.
- Write and execute SQL queries for database validation.
- Conduct defect tracking and document testing results.
- Collaborate with developers to investigate and reproduce bugs.
- Support regression testing activities prior to deployment.
- Contribute to automated testing initiatives using tools such as Playwright or Supertest.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree from a reputable university.
- Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 1 year of experience in QA, Software Testing, or IT are welcome to apply.
- Understanding of microservices architecture and API testing fundamentals.
- Ability to create test case scenarios and perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Proficiency in SQL queries for data validation purposes.
- Basic knowledge of JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking skills.
